I’d like to introduce to you a once-in-a-while feature of our program dubbed ‘HOT POT POOL PARTY’ where I share rough bits of discarded music. You got your unfinished ideas, your outtakes, your joke songs that go nowhere. Often I’ll make songs non-seriously to amuse myself or simply to test out new plugins on my poor ailing laptop, emulating (poorly) popular culture from the 80s to the 10s. Many are bad, a few might end up as proper songs someday, but the point of them is to enjoy making music and keep depression at bay for 20 fuckin’ minutes, please. Think of these like a theme party where we’ve all gathered, wearing costumes, and by we I mean it’s just me standing by the couch holding a balloon dressed as Kylo Ren or something.
